I wear cute shoes and have a strong desire to save the world. Currently, that desire is manifesting itself in the form of Grad School. I'm still hoping that my degree will say "Masters in Saving the World." Fingers crossed. On any given day you can find me talking with my hands, plotting how to steal any adorable baby within eye sight or spending quality time with my KitchenAid. I spend an inordinate amount of time flying to California, G-Chating to California and praying that California makes it to Texas in the form of my handy, handsome boyfriend sometime in the near future. Life is busy. And life is good.

She's a girl. No, she is not named after a beer. She's a whole lot of trouble wrapped up in a 38-pound package. She can catch her own tail, now that's talent.

Although I am associated with Teach For America, KIPP, UT Austin and Mercy ships in the sense that they hired/accepted me into their programs, these thoughts are all mine and do not represent the organizations in any official way. I hope I do justice to all three amazing non-profits, but if you get mad, please get mad at me not them. Also, if you are looking to stalk children, go somewhere else. I change names and skew facts a bit to make sure crazies can't find my kids. As for me, I'm not really worth stalking as I talk too much and am a bad driver.
